মঙ্গলবার (১ নভেম্বর ২০২৫) বাংলাদেশের বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্রনেতা প্রিন্স মাহমুদ আজিম একটি লাইভ ভিডিওতে আন্তর্জাতিক ন্যায়বিচার ও মানবতার প্রতি গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন। তিনি বিশেষভাবে ড. জাকির নায়েক-এর নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং ভারতের ন্যায়ের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান।

লাইভ বক্তব্যে তিনি বলেন, “ড. জাকির নায়েক দীর্ঘদিন ধরে শান্তি, সহনশীলতা ও জ্ঞানের বার্তা প্রচার করে আসছেন। এমন একজন আলেমকে অপরাধী হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করা আন্তর্জাতিক ন্যায়ের মান ও মানবতার বিবেকের জন্য প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ।”

তিনি আরও বলেন, “বাংলাদেশ বিশ্বাস করে — সত্যের কোনো ভয় লাগে না, আর ন্যায়ের কোনো প্রতিরক্ষা প্রয়োজন হয় না। ভারতের নেতৃত্ব ও জনগণের প্রতি আহ্বান, রাজনীতির বাইরে সত্যের কণ্ঠস্বরকে ন্যায্যতার চোখে দেখুন।”

এই সময়ে তিনি ভারত সরকারকে আহ্বান জানান, যাতে বাংলাদেশের চব্বিশ গণহত্যার হত্যাকারীদের ফেরত দিয়ে বিচার নিশ্চিত করা হয়।

ছাত্রনেতার এই বার্তা শুধু ভারতীয় নাগরিকদের নয়, আন্তর্জাতিক মহলেরও দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করেছে। তিনি আরও বলেন, “যখন একজন শান্তির প্রচারককে অন্যায়ভাবে নীরব করা হয়, তখন পুরো অঞ্চলের বিবেক কেঁপে ওঠে। সত্যমেব জয়তে — সত্যই সর্বদা জয়ী হয়।”

In his speech, he said, “Dr. Zakir Naik has long been spreading the message of peace, tolerance, and knowledge. Labeling such a scholar as a criminal raises questions about the standards of international justice and the conscience of humanity.”

He further stated, “Bangladesh believes that truth fears no judgment, and justice requires no defense. We urge the leadership and people of India to look beyond politics and view the voice of truth through the eyes of fairness.”

At this moment, he called upon the Government of India to return the perpetrators of Bangladesh’s twenty-four mass killings to ensure justice and accountability.

The student leader’s message drew attention not only from Indian citizens but also from the international community. Highlighting the moral dimension, he added, “When a preacher of peace is silenced unjustly, the conscience of the entire region trembles. Satyameva Jayate — Truth Alone Triumphs.”
